简介

字母缩写（ABBA）源自于乐队成员姓名的首字母(字母的排列顺序并无规定)。少数时候被记为Abba。在1976以前的乐队的宣传材料中，乐队标志中的第一个“B”字母就已经被反转过来了。

乐队在1970前后组建，乐队成员是Björn Ulvaeus，Benny Andersson，Agnetha Fältskog和Anni-Frid Lyngstad（绰号是“Frida”）。

他们凭借歌曲《Waterloo》（《滑铁卢》）在1974的欧洲电视网歌曲比赛（Eurovision Song Contest）中获胜，他们从此广泛地为人所知。ABBA于1982年解散。
